Our biggest update for the iOS app is now live in the iTunes App Store. Last month we announced Offline Playback for Android and Audiogalaxy Mobile 2.0 brings the same great features to our iOS app. You can now ‘pin’ a song or a group of songs and download them to your iPhone, iPad or iPod wherever you are – no need for clunky desktop software, wires or even WiFi!

Offline Mode
After you pin songs to your device you can still enjoy your music the next time you’re on a plane or in an area with spotty network access. You are in control of what is pinned and what is streamed – simply swipe any row to pin or un-pin songs. You can pin entire playlists, albums, artists, genres or individual songs. Enter offline mode via the Settings menu, and jump back online using the ‘Go Online‘ button. In addition to making them available offline, pinning the songs you play most will reduce dataplan usage and improve battery life, because the local copy will be used even when you are online. (So go ahead and pin that ‘Most Played Songs’ playlist first!)
You can pin a limited number of songs as part of the free trial, and once you purchase the add-on there is no limit (except for space on your device) on how many songs you can download. You can purchase the add-on as an in-app purchase from the Settings menu, and can also check the status of your download. You can also get visual cues throughout the app to know when downloads are in progress – try it out!
Offline Playback Options
This new release also introduces the ability to swipe a song to like it, add it to any existing playlist or start a new playlist with the song. We’re excited to bring you these features, but we have some even better features coming up in the near future, so stay tuned!
